Day 22

1) Talk in groups about the Pre-research Portfolio using the Group Discussion Guide Questions.

2) Whole-class Question-and-Answer about the IRP and Pre-research Portfolio
As a class, we will ask and answer questions about the IRP and Pre-research Portfolio. If you know the answer to one of your classmate's questions, answer it! I am the last resort for an answer.

3) Peer Review
By doing peer review, you will develop “objective eyes” to evaluate others’ work as well as your own, will have an opportunity to revise your ideas based on peers’ comments, and will learn how your ideas can be put into layman's terms.

First, put EVERYTHING related to the Pre-research Portfolio in your Pre-research Portfolio folder in dropbox.

Then open that folder and trade desks with someone NOT sitting right next to you.
*This will be your partner. Make sure each of you are reviewing each other's work.

Use the Peer Review Guide Questions to review your peer's work.

4) Peer Conference
Look over what your partner has written about your work and then ask them questions or make clarifications. If you have questions for me, I will be going around to answer them.

Remember, the final Pre-research Portfolio is due Friday, March 8th before class.
